Wine Fair 2024

The Wine Fair celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2024. It brings together the most important wine importers, producers, wine lovers, and professionals from near and far at Tallinn Creative Hub on April 4–5. The Wine Fair is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with hundreds of wineries, taste over a thousand wines, and participate in masterclasses that develop your taste buds.

At the Wine Fair, you can meet new and familiar wine traders, discover new trends, and take advantage of the Wine Fair offers to supplement your wine list or wine cellar. In addition to wines, you will also find other exciting drinks and gourmet products at the fair. The fair has a diverse and educational program of tastings and masterclasses.

The Wine Fair will announce the winners of the Wine of the Year 2024 Estonia tasting competition, and many of the award-winning wines will be available for public tastings at the fair . The Wine Fair is Estonia’s largest wine event and is worth attending.

  • Thursday, April 4, from 12.00 to 20.00
  • Friday, April 5, from 12.00 to 21.00

Unique wines will be opened at the wine fair, and there will be many masterclasses, tastings, and other exciting things. We will soon publish the program.

Masterclasses

The Wine Fair has a tradition of offering special masterclasses and tastings, which have a limited number of places.

We will publish the program for masterclasses very soon.

To participate in the classes, check out the special program below, conducted by wineries representatives and top experts in the field. Many tastings/masterclasses are free, and some are available with tickets. To book a seat tasting/masterclass, which is free, you need to pay a reservation fee of 5€ + 1€ Piletitasku service fee when registering. 5 € will be refunded if you attend the tasting/masterclass and your booking ticket is scanned. The reservation fee refund will be taken from Piletitasku up to 4 working days after the event. 1 € remains for the Piletitasku administration fee and bank transfer costs.

Program

Participate in the Wine Fair

The Wine Fair brings together representatives of restaurants and bars, retailers, and wine lovers from different interest groups in one place. It thus provides an opportunity to introduce their products and brands, increase market share, and find business contacts and new customers.

The fair’s main area will be wine exhibitors, other alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, and gourmet products. There will also be seminars and tastings at the fair. In addition, the Estonian Wine of the Year 2024 results will be announced, and many of these wines can be tasted at the fair.
The Wine Fair is the largest public wine event organized in Estonia.

The Wine Fair, organized by the Estonian Sommelier Association, offers:

  • More than 9000 m² of exhibition space
  • Wines and other drinks and related goods (gourmet products, foods, glasses, etc.) are welcome.
  • Contacts with Estonian wine and food specialists and wine lovers

The schedule for the 10. Wine Fair 2024

Wednesday, April 3rd:
Setup and building of the fair: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM.

Thursday, April 4th:
For the exponents entrance to the fair area through the red doors on the courtyard side of Cauldron Hall starting at 9:00 A to prepare your table / booth for the fair.

Fair hours for the public: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Friday, April 5th:
Entrance to the fair area through the red doors on the courtyard side of Cauldron Hall starting at 10:00 AM to prepare your table / booth for the fair.

Fair hours for the public: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
In addition, there are opportunities to conduct masterclasses, where you can provide for the visitors to delve deeper into the secrets of the wine world, to your winery and wines, and to enjoy special tasting experiences.

Price list

The prices are final; no VAT is added.

Box price per m²:

  • 120 €/m² ESA supporters
  • 150 €/m² all others

It is also possible to participate in the fair by renting only a table.

  • 1 table (150 x 80 cm): 170 €/2 days; ESA supporter: 140 €/2 days
  • 2 tables (300 x 80 cm): 280 €/2 days; ESA supporter: 240 €/2 days

We calculate the table depth as 2 m per table from the exhibitor’s side of the table.

The box or table price includes the following:

  • Free wristbands for exhibitors are given according to the number of people working in the box (behind the table) (1 table = 2 wristbands; 2 tables = 4 wristbands; box up to 10 m² = 6 wristbands; larger boxes = 10 wristbands). Exhibitors can buy wristbands/tickets for their guests at a discounted price.
  • Free wine glasses are given according to the number of people working in the box (behind the table). The glasses must be returned after the fair.

NB: All participants must have

  • Ice containers (if necessary).
  • The organizers provide ice—containers for pouring out the residues of drinks (spittoons). The organizers will assist in emptying them.
  • Clean water jugs so that visitors can rinse their glasses if necessary. This water is not intended to be offered to visitors as a drink. The organizers will assist in supplying the jugs with water.
  • A contract with the Estonian Authors’ Association is needed if you want to play music in your box.

Organizer

The Estonian Sommelier Association (ESA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 by physical and legal persons who select, serve, and present drinks, operating based on public, voluntary, democratic principles. ESA has been a Association de la Sommellerie Internationale (A.S.I.) member since 2002. ESA’s goal is to raise the level of knowledge and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and to promote a drinking culture. To this end, various competitions, tastings, masterclasses, and other industry-related events are organized. Today, the association unites more than 180 members, more than 40 partners, and their representatives. ESA organizes wine connoisseur and sommelier courses at the Estonian Sommelier Private School, where more than a hundred students participate every year
